Remembrance

We express ourselves in so many ways especially when it comes to remembrance of a loved one. I walk around the city and see plates and stones of dedication for loved ones who have passed on and the need to put our love in permanence in this tangible world. I don’t do cemeteries at all. I find them to be an awful reminder of physical world void , for me🙏♥️

I’ve wanted a tattoo for a long while now but never loved anything enough to want it on my body for this entire life 🫣.

So I woke up the morning after I had this done this past March, my eyes still groggy I’m sure but I could swear how my arm was placed above me these sweet angelic hummingbirds were flying to the heavens and I felt such love and warmth radiating back 🙏♥️✨

I chose hummingbirds because 1. My mom loved birds 2. They are the closet living thing that can fly to the heavens on earth 3. They represent “Enchantment, Love, Spiritual Journeys” 🙏♥️ pure transcendence. They spark joy with their Iridescent Colors and can fly in all directions , boundless.

I would in a millisecond trade this most perfect tattoo for just one more hug from my mom and my brother but they are for now placed on my arm for the rest of this entire life and eternally in my heart until we meet again ♥️🫶🏻🙏
